'Firebird' is a beautiful and unique scarf, woven entirely by hand on a rigid heddle loom.  This scarf made from a blend of pure wools and sari silk in rich red, orange and yellow tones, all spun by hand on a traditional spinning wheel - a lengthy process but one which yields beautiful and truly unique results.

This wide, lengthy scarf is approximately 180cm long, with an additional 12cm twisted fringe at each end. The scarf is approx 29cm in width. 

The handspun pure wool fibres in this garment include Merino and Corriedale - fibres famed for their softness and drape. The design features a gradient warp running from dark red through to golden yellow, with a weft of red/orange wool silk blend.

Being a wool-based garment, this item is recommended for cool hand wash only.
