This is a beautiful, unique, handmade silver brooch featuring a running hare at full stretch.

The hare is individually sawn by hand from recycled sterling silver sheet before soldering it to the brooch. The running hare is set within a sterling silver circle, with a double-ended silver catch pin to the reverse. The circle measures approximately 4.5cm in diameter, while the hare measures 6cm from toe to toe. The brooch is hallmarked on the reverse with an assay mark from the London Assay Office for 2024.

The brooch pin is crafted from 1.5mm sterling silver wire and is therefore best worn on woven or knitted fabrics. It weighs 12.7g.
